in the centre of the coin disc – the portrait of M.I. Kutuzov with the single-breasted military jacket on, below – a shako over crossed weapon, standards and army accouterments, under them – inscription along the rim: “ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННАЯ ВОЙНА 1812 ГОДА” (THE PATRIOTIC WAR OF 1812).
