Series: The XXVII World Summer Universiade of 2013 in the City of Kazan

The obverse: in the centre — the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it — the semicircular inscription «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim — on top: «ТРИ РУБЛЯ» (THREE RUBLES), below: to the left — indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre — the year of issue «2013 г.» (2013), to the right — the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.

The reverse: on the mirror field of the disc — the relief image of a sportswoman holding in the raised hands a cloth marked by the Logotype of the Universiade (inscription in four lines: «UNIVERSIADE KAZAN 2013 RUSSIA», made by prints of different sizes with five asterisks under it) and the Emblem of the Universiade (stylized graphic image of a tulip) located to the left of the Logotype; in the background — the relief image of the Kazan Kremlin, under it — a horizontal stripe with vegetable ornament, on the strip along the rim formed by the concentric line — inscription going from the left down to the right: «XXVII ВСЕМИРНАЯ ЛЕТНЯЯ УНИВЕРСИАДА 2013 ГОДА В Г. КАЗАНИ» (XXVII WORLD SUMMER UNIVERSIADE OF 2013 IN THE CITY OF KAZAN), added above by a vegetable pattern.
